VNL Finals return to Ningbo

The 2026 FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Men's Finals will take place in Ningbo from July 29 to Aug 2, bringing eight of the world's best national teams together to compete for one of the sport's most prestigious annual titles.

Hosted at the Beilun Sports and Arts Center, the tournament marks the culmination of three weeks of VNL preliminary-round competition. China qualifies automatically as host nation and will open its campaign in the quarterfinals against the top-ranked team from the preliminary phase.

The field features some of international volleyball's most successful teams. Defending champion Poland returns to defend its title, while Italy and Brazil, who finished second and third last year, are also expected to be strong contenders. With every match played in a knockout format, the road to the championship promises intense competition from the opening day.

Ningbo's Beilun district has long been associated with international volleyball events and has hosted numerous major tournaments over the years. Ahead of this year's finals, the venue has undergone further upgrades, including enhanced broadcast facilities, improved lighting systems, smart crowd-management technology, and renovated spectator seating. 

Fans attending the tournament will also be able to enjoy a volleyball-themed festival outside the arena, featuring interactive games, skills challenges, and official event merchandise.

As the season's final showdown approaches, the VNL Men's Finals will bring many of the sport's biggest stars to Ningbo, offering fans a chance to witness world-class volleyball and the battle for one of the most coveted trophies in the international game.
