Ningbo to Kaohsiung direct flights resume July 4
Direct flights between Ningbo in Zhejiang and Kaohsiung in Taiwan will officially resume from July 4, offering a more convenient travel option for passengers during the summer season and facilitating cross-Strait exchanges.
The route, operated by Spring Airlines, will run twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays using an Airbus A320 aircraft, for a total of 740 seats per week.
Flight 9C8685 departs from Ningbo at 3:30 pm and arrives in Kaohsiung at 5:35 pm, while the return flight (9C8686) leaves Kaohsiung at 6:35 pm and lands in Ningbo at 8:35 pm. The one-way journey takes about two hours.
At present, travelers from Ningbo to Kaohsiung must transfer mid-route, with the total travel time exceeding five hours. The resumption of direct flights will significantly improve travel efficiency and enhance connectivity between the two destinations.
Tickets are now available through official channels. One-way fares start from 549 yuan ($80.52, inclusive of tax) for flights from Ningbo to Kaohsiung, and from 707 yuan for the return journey.
