Zhejiang launches alliance for one-person companies

A service alliance for Zhejiang's one-person company innovation ecosystem was launched in Hangzhou on April 2, alongside a plan to draft a series of group standards for the sector.

The alliance was formed under the guidance of the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang Province. Its 39 founding members include universities and research institutes, industrial parks and platform operators, large-model and infrastructure companies, data and security service providers, scenario providers, enabling service companies, third-party professional service institutions, and representative one-person companies.

The alliance aims to address common challenges faced by one-person companies during rapid growth, including limited access to resources, difficulty reaching markets, and weak risk resilience. It is designed to build an efficient link between the government, capital, and entrepreneurs, while integrating resources and connecting policy support with market demand to help turn innovation achievements into commercial value.

It will focus on five main tasks. These include tracking the development of one-person companies across Zhejiang and carrying out city-specific research, establishing a standards-based evaluation system, pooling ecosystem resources such as computing power, models, and legal services, building platforms to connect companies with demand from leading State-owned enterprises, and fostering talent networks through entrepreneurship camps and tiered community-building programs.

The alliance is also drafting a series of group standards for artificial intelligence-related one-person companies. Work has already been approved for the Artificial Intelligence OPC Terminology standard, while the Guide for Evaluating the Construction and Operation of Artificial Intelligence OPC Communities is scheduled to begin in April. Both are expected to be released in July this year.
