Ningbo welcomed Chinese New Year with a spectacular 202-meter-long table feast along the Nantang River, combining traditional cuisine, cultural performances, and a lively market to showcase the city's rich heritage and festive spirit.
Hundreds of local dishes — from classic Ningbo snacks to seafood delicacies and regional specialties — were served, giving guests a true taste of the city's bounty from both mountains and sea.
Alongside the feast, a cultural market showcased artisanal crafts, local products, and interactive workshops, while performances such as lion dances, dragon dances, and lantern parades highlighted Ningbo's rich intangible cultural heritage. Visitors could also enjoy calligraphy and DIY crafts, capturing the vibrant atmosphere of Chinese New Year celebrations.
The event brought together guests from 26 countries, local residents, and cultural representatives, some dressed in hanfu (traditional Chinese costume) to fully immerse themselves in the festive customs.
Organizers also offered prizes, gift packs, and interactive activities, giving visitors the chance to win tickets, hotel stays, and other special experiences.
