Zhejiang's tourism sector achieved a significant milestone in 2025, with nine additional hotels earning national five‑star tourism hotel certification, according to the National Tourism Star‑Rating Hotel Assessment Committee. This brings the province's total to 93.
Among the new entrants is Hualuxe Ningbo Harbor City. Opened on June 1, 2021, the hotel covers 35,899 square meters. The 15‑story property sits at No 1199 Changjiang Road, a prime location linking Beilun district's commercial core with the gateway area of the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone in Ningbo.
The hotel features 345 guest rooms, including 29 suites, supported by an executive lounge, disinfection facilities, and dedicated workspaces. Dining options include a full‑service restaurant, a Chinese restaurant with 16 private rooms, and a lobby lounge. Its event facilities include two large ballrooms of 400 to 1,060 sq m and nine meeting rooms of various sizes.
The hotel is also equipped with a 2,000‑sq‑m wellness area — comprising a gym, pool, spa, and beauty salon — as well as a business center.
